Welcome to Forest Lake Camp! We are a traditional overnight summer camp for boys and girls located just north of Lake George, in the Southern Adirondack Mountains of New York. Founded in 1926, we have been enriching the lives of boys and girls ever since. Forest Lake Camp sits on just over 800 acres at the southern end of the Adirondack Park in New York. From various locations on camp, you can see a good portion of the southern Adirondack peaks, all in our \"backyard\". We also have our very own, private, spring fed lake (hence our name). The lake is a great place for campers to swim, sail, and cool down after a full day of activities!FLC is not a co-ed camp but rather a brother/sister camp – offering the best of both worlds. Our boys camp and girls camp co-exist on the same property providing a unique experience for each. Both summer camps have their own campus with living areas and distinct activity programs. On occasion for special events, the two camps unite to create a shared experience. Our broad range of activities will provide your child with the opportunity to try new things, learn new skills, and truly enjoy the beautiful surroundings in the Adirondack Mountains. We offer 2, 3, 4, 5, and 7 week programs for boys and girls ages 8-16. So, no matter how long you would like your son or daughter to stay, we have multiple options for you to choose from. The boys and girls camps both start and end on the same dates, making it extremely convenient for families with both boys and girls.
