Camp Yomi is our traditional day camp for children entering kindergarten through 4th grade. Since 1955, Camp Yomi has been providing a memorable camp experience in a rustic woodland setting in Rockland County (just 20 minutes from the George Washington Bridge). Activities include sports, music, art, 2 swims daily, climbing tower/ ropes course, tennis, special theme days, visiting artists, cookouts and so much more! Yomi campers leave with a sense of accomplishment, new friends, new skills and memories that keep them coming back year after year!
Yomi Seniors is for children entering 5th and 6th grades and also takes place at our Rockland County campgrounds. Yomi Seniors provides the perfect mix of traditional activities and specialty options for the older camper. The program includes weekly trips to professional ball games, amusement parks, Fire Island and Deep Sea Fishing, as well as an exciting overnight experience each session! A unique component of Yomi Seniors is the opportunity for campers to be involved in choosing their daily activities. Three afternoons a week campers chose to participate in tennis, ceramics, pioneering, super sports, horseback riding or media.
