HORSES! HORSES! HORSES! are what you get with Falcon Horse Lover Camp. In this unique program, you receive “your own horse” and literally Eat, Sleep and Breathe Horses all day, every day. Girls only, ages 11 – 15, are accepted from beginner to accomplished intermediate level. The one week camps run from June 17– August 11 with very limited enrollment - only 8 girls each week! Two rings and miles of trails allow for individual instruction and group lessons. Horse Lover Camp is designed for beginners who have dreamed of owning their own horse to girls who are beginning to show on the Hunter/Jumper “A” circuit. Girls choose to ride Western, English or both, along with bareback and lunge lessons. From first morning feeding until dark, activities surround horses. Campers ride about 4 hours a day with excellent camp horses, skilled instructors, ring lessons, trail rides, fun rides, games, instruction in basic skills, all gaits, horsemanship, equitation, stable management, first aid, horse health, safety, ground lessons, guest speakers, parent demo, take home video and more. There is a break for part of each afternoon for the girls to relax at the lake and to give the horses a rest in the heat of the day.
